Episode 1: Playhouse Theatre, London.
Episode 2: The Swanee Whistle was used for the first time. It was also the first use of The Mystery Voice in the show.
Episode 3: Barry says "You know your own business best" for the first time. A line he would use many times over the years.
Episode 4: The name 'One Song to the Tune of Another' is said for the first time, and 'repetition' is used as a challenge.
Episode 6: 'Misleading Readings' is given its proper name.
Episode 12: Humph makes the first of 358 consecutive appearances as Chairman, and 364 in total.
Episode 13: John Cleese makes his last appearance.
David Hatch produced the first episode.
