Humphrey Lyttelton (Series 18 Episode 4)

Episode 1: The Old Ship Hotel, Brighton. Graeme's 150th appearance. 'Gargle Song' is called 'Gargler's World'. Bill Tidy hints at 'Bring me the Head of Alfredo Garcia', the first time this film is mentioned. A prize is described after the intro to 'Pick Up Song' (a corderoy truncheon). The first show to not have a round of 'Late Arrivals' since s01e01.
Episode 2: The Old Ship Hotel, Brighton. Willie tells Bill Tidy that Tim is a terrible 'Mornington Crescent' player. Tim was the best during the 1980's.
Episode 3: Samantha's 50th appearance. Bill Tidy's 7th appearance, drawing level with Jo Kendall. 'Bed Time Story' is given its proper name, again.
Episode 4: Graeme's 153rd appearance, level with Tim. Bill Tidy's 8th appearance, level with John Cleese, Denise Coffey and Stephen Fry. 'Film Club' is played for the first time, the 50th different game of the 1990's. 'Limericks' is played for the 25th time.
Episode 5: Graeme's 154th appearance, passing Tim. Bill Tidy's 9th appearance, passing John Cleese, Denise Coffey and Stephen Fry.
Episode 6: Bill Tidy's 10th appearance. Humph mentions a 'crochet' prior to Pick Up Song and asks the audience "What do points mean?" for the first time.

The first series without Tim in any of the recordings, or 'Late Arrivals' being played. This series has the same line-up throughout.
Bill Tidy's 10th appearance makes him the sixth panellist to reach double figures.

Mrs Trellis gets her first mention during this series, as does Humph's gramophone and "what do points mean?" is asked for the first time.

Episode 1: Barry's 150th appearance (6 as Chairman). Paul Merton's first appearance, the 15th different panellist. Jon Naismith's first show as producer.
Episode 2: Colin's 125th appearance. Tim's 155th appearance, drawing level with Graeme. Barry says "I wish I was dead" for the first time, after a joke doesn't work. 'Straight Face' is played for the 25th time.
Episode 3: Sven makes his debut as scorer. Denise Coffey's 9th apperance, moving ahead of John Cleese and Stephen Fry, her first appearance since s10e08. 'School Reports' played for the first time since s13e05. 'Bad Tempered Clavier' is played for the 10th time.
Episode 4: Denise Coffey's 10th appearance. Humph mentions his 'volume knob' prior to 'Pick Up Song'. 'Smugglers' is played for the first time since s12e08.
Episode 5: Tim's 156th appearance, moving him ahead of Graeme. 'Misleading Advice' is played for the 10th time. 'Singing Sprint' is played for the first time since s15e07. 'Commentary' is played for the first time since s02e06. 'Pick Up Song' is played for the 25th time. 'Singing Relay' is played for the 25th time.
Episode 6: Sven is referred to as the 'Scandanavian tree trunk in trunks' for the first time. 'Biographies' is played for the first time since s07e04. 'Bad Tempered Clavier' is played for the 10th time.
Episode 7: Barry's 150th appearance as a panellist. The classic line-up reunited for the first time since s17e06, and their 100th time together and 90th with Colin. Samantha and Sven appear together. 'Last Episode' is played for the first time since s15e02. 'Suitcases' is played for the first time since s15e05. 'Singer and the Song' is played for the first time since s10e05.
Episode 8: 175th episode. A slight change is made to 'Kiss of Death' as the panellists give lines to avoid at the alter on your wedding day. Two games of 'Mornington Crescent' are played as Tim wins the frist game on the second move.
