Episode 1: Theatre Royal, Windsor. Graeme's 225th appearance. 'Bordeaux' is played for the first time since s11e09, but isn't named. 'New Versions' is played for the first time since s10e08. 'Censored Songs' is played for the first time since e23e01. 
Episode 2: Theatre Royal, Windsor. Colin's 200th appearance. 'Topical Nursery Rhyme' is played for the first time s20e05. 'Jest Expander' wasn't named but was played for the first time since s10e10. 
Episode 3: City Varieties Theatre, Leeds
Episode 4: City Varieties Theatre, Leeds. 
Episode 5: Southsea. Barry's 225th episode. Barry is the first panellist on the show to say 'shit'. 'Cheddar Gorge' is played for the 25th time. 'New Musical Combos' is played as 'Dysfunctional Duets'. 
Episode 6: 250th episode. Southsea. 'Historical Headlines' is played for the 25th time. Barry uses the word 'bollocking'.

27 February 1998 - 'If I Ruled the World' is broadcast on BBC2 for the first time.  The show is created & produced by Richard Osman and features Graeme, Jeremy Hardy and Tony Hawks.  Later panellists included Fred MacAulay, Tim, Andy Hamilton and Linda Smith.
27 April 1998 - Mornington Crescent Tube Station was re-opened by Humph, Barry, Tim and Graeme.

3 August 1998 - 'Barry Cryer - You Won't Believe This But...' is broadcast on BBC Radio 4 every day for a week as Barry reads out a sort of autobiography.

Episode 1: Pavilion Theatre, Glasgow. Tim's 225th appearance. Fred MacAuley makes his debut, and is the 12th different panellist of the 1990's, the 19th in total. 'Connections' is played as 'The Amazing Coincidence Round'. 
Episode 2: Pavilion Theatre, Glasgow. Hamish & Dougal get their first cheer, as they perform 'The Shining' for a second time. 'Complete Quotes' is played as 'Proverbs' using Scottish sayings. 'Late Arrivals' is played for the 175th time.
Episode 3: Cardiff. Max Boyce makes his debut. The Welsh version of 'Cheddar Gorge' was played - 'Caerphilly Gorge'. 'Name that Tune' is played for the first time since s09e02. 
Episode 4: Cardiff. Max Boyce last appearance. The first of those jokes about Lionel Blair. 'Complete Quotes' is based on Welsh phrases and sayings. 
Episode 5: Birmingham. 
Episode 6: Birmingham. Humph's 250th appearance. 'Questions and Answers' is played as 'How Do They Do That?'
