“If you have never heard the show before then you may hear one or two new jokes.

If you have heard it before then you will need no further cue to turn off your radio”
Humphrey Lyttelton (Series 8 Episode 6)

Episode 1: The introduction of 'Mornington Crescent' receives a round of applause. Humph claims they were going to drop the game and it would be the only one of the series. The panellists are to come up with one game each this series.
Episode 2: The show was inundated with a postcard, but from a man in Ramsgate. Limericks is played for the first time since the first series. The first episode, since 1977, that 'Mornington Crescent' wasn't played.
Episode 3: Graeme does his Eddy Waring impression. An audience member correctly guesses a song in the 'Backwards' round. 'Wobbling Bunnies' was going to be played but they ran out of time.
Episode 4: Denise Coffey is the first stand-in for the 1980's. Tim misses a show for the first time since Series 4. 'Wobbling Bunnies' isn't played, again.
Episode 5: The show was to start with a round of 'Wobbling Bunnies' but the apparatus hadn't arrived. 'I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts' is sung in 'One Song to the Tune of Another' for the first time.
Episode 6: 'Unsuitable Songs' played using two songs played in the last series.
Episode 7: 75th episode. Graeme's 75th episode, all consecutive appearances. The names for 'Sound Charades' are displayed by computer, using digital chalk.
Episode 8: 'Late Arrivals' is played for the 75th (consecutive) time. 'Mornington Crescent' played for the 25th time.
Episode 9: Round 3 was introduced as 'Blues' but both teams sang a 'Calypso'.  Time ran out before 'Wobbling Bunnies' could be played, again.
Episode 10: 'Wobbling Bunnies' is finally played, the 50th game of the decade.

Geoffrey Perkins produces the series.

Humph, Graeme, Barry and Willie appear in every show.  Graeme is still the only person to have appeared in every episode.

'Late Arrivals' is played at the end of every episode.  'Ad-Lib Poem' is played in 5 episodes.
